Notarization of photocopies

The certification of the copy of a document is to be made for the purpose of certifying that the copy is identical with its original.

When verifying if a copy is identical with the original documents, the full text of the copy is carefully compared with that of the original documents.

Copies must match the text of the original documents in spelling, punctuation, and abbreviation of words. The same procedure is used to determine that a photocopy of a document is identical with the original document, as photocopies are considered copies.

Original documents to be certify by the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina should be submitted in person with a consular fee payment receipt.
